Chittagong, January 8, 2025 – A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between the state of the arts fashion brand Blucheez Outfitters and Asian University for Women (AUW) to foster collaboration in education, research, and professional development.
Under this partnership, Blucheez will provide pragmatic learning opportunities, including industry immersion programs, internships, and job placement support, to students of the MS in Apparel and Fashion Business Management program at AUW. This initiative aims to equip future leaders with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the apparel and fashion industry.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Rubana Huq, Vice Chancellor of AUW, and Ms. Simeen Zaman, Co-founder of Blucheez. The ceremony was also graced by Mr. Fazle Rabbi, COO of Blucheez; Dr. Raghu Reddy, Assistant Dean of Faculty and Industry Partnerships; along with other distinguished faculty members. Students of AUW were also present in the event.
This strategic partnership underscores the commitment of both organizations to bridging academia and industry, fostering innovation, and creating impactful opportunities for women in the global apparel sector.
